The largest grape in the world on the Eory-Kogel.

The grape symbolizes the livelihood of the municipality and its businesses, but also future development based on historical roots. It also stands for a good, fertile land and cheerful people.

It is the symbol of the second largest wine-growing municipality in Styria and has also been used as a national emblem in the municipal coat of arms since 1955. So it was a logical step to erect the world's largest bunch of grapes made of stainless steel and artistic, colored fillings made of fused glass, which represent the grape pearls, on the Eory-Kogel in the cadastral municipality of Pößnitz in this beautiful setting, embedded in gentle hills with countless vineyards and varied greenery. This grape display is 5 m high, 4 m wide and almost 2 m deep.

To illustrate the annual process of winegrowing, from the work in the vineyard and vinification in the cellar to the first sip of the fine grape juice, local artist Willi Trojan created this bunch of grapes in such a way that it has 365 pearls for the days of the year - including a 366th pearl for the leap year. The 52 parts of the object (50 leaves, trunk and grape) symbolize the weeks of the year. The 31 small leaves symbolize the days of the month, the 12 medium-sized leaves the months of the year and the 7 large leaves represent the days of the week.
