Our Kellerstöckl, which we have rebuilt or rebuilt as a vacation home and completed in 2019, is located in the market town of Großklein in southern Styria.
At the foot of the legendary Burgstallkogel, right next to the hiking trail it is nestled between vineyards and orchards, meadows, forests and fields in a quiet, elevated location. Hike up our vineyard and you can enjoy a beautiful view. From there you can reach in a few minutes the Hallstatt homestead where you can get an insight into the life of the people of our region in the Early Iron Age.
In our region many hiking and biking trails invite you to experience nature. Under the motto with the E-Bike by the Sulmtal and Sausal there is the possibility E-Bikes daily to lend (closer on (www.sulmtal-sausal.at).
Not to forget the many Buschenschenken in the whole Südsteiermark, which spoil their guests with regional products, homemade delicacies and quality wines. Our house is located about 8 km from Kitzeck and about 18 km from Gamlitz.
Shopping facilities are available in the immediate vicinity in Großklein, 3.5 km away, and in Gleinstätten, 5 km away.
Our community has 3 museums. The Hallstatt museum, a core oil museum and a vehicle museum.
In summer there are bathing possibilities within a radius of 5-15 km in bathing lakes and outdoor pools and all year round in the Parktherme Bad Radkersburg, which is 55 min. away. Shopping pleasure can be found in Leibnitz/Gralla as well as in Graz.
