Our romantic traditional winery is located in the heart of the beautiful South Styrian wine landscape. Our stylishly renovated annex has been expanded with modern guest rooms, a wellness area and a wine and culinary lounge. Here you can relax and leave everyday life behind. We attach great importance to high-quality wines as well as Styrian and regional delicacies.

In the heart of Gamlitz, in the wonderful South Styrian wine landscape lies the Weinschmiede, a romantic traditional winery. Founded in 1772 as a winery tavern, it was renovated in a stylish and contemporary way and expanded with an addition of guest rooms, a wellness area and the wine and culinary lounge - the Achtzehner - in a modern ambience. A leisure and wellness oasis that invites you to linger, enjoy, but also to discover. We stand for quality - that's why we attach particular importance to regionality and seasonality in our wines and delicacies. In this way, we not only support our regional, neighboring businesses, but also provide you with distinctive and high-quality enjoyment. Seasonality is not only in the culinary sense. With a lot of love and commitment, we have built up another mainstay with the Weinschmiede and turned it into a magical place with new life. Our winery is located in the middle of the beautiful wine landscape and is a good starting point for many attractive excursions in the surrounding area - a day trip to Marburg in Slovenia, the Styrian capital Graz and the neighboring southeastern and western Styria offer many opportunities for discovery and experience. Walks and hikes, as well as golfing and e-biking - everything is possible with us. So that you don't have to worry about anything, we also offer suitable packages for e-biking and golfing.
