Interestingly prepared stations in the Fürstenfeld urban area provide an insight into the city's history - from the time of the Turkish sieges in the Middle Ages to the situation in Fürstenfeld during the Second World War. Come with us into the dark crypt of the Augustinian Church or into mysterious bunkers that offered protection to people in times of war. The brave will be rewarded with a fantastic view of the surroundings. Some Festungsweg stations now also have historical information material prepared for media use. Fortress Path Tours 2024 March to June: Every Saturday at 2 p.m. (except Holy Saturday)
July and August: every Tuesday evening tour at 7 p.m., every Thursday night tour at 8 p.m. and every Friday at 10 a.m
September and October: Every Saturday at 2 p.m.
Price: EUR 5.00 per person.
Duration of the tours: 1.5 to 2.5 hours.
Meeting point: courtyard of the Pfeilburg Museum in Klostergasse in Fürstenfeld.
